GRAND HYATT DFW CELEBRATES JULY 1 OPENING AT DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Luxury Hotel Offers Direct Access to Airport’s New International Terminal and Skylink

    DALLAS –Summer 2005– Grand Hyatt DFW opened on July 1st, 2005 with a special ribbon­cutting ceremony and patriotic­ themed grand opening celebration. The 12­story, 298­room hotel adjoins the new International Terminal D at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and marks both the first Grand Hyatt to be located at an airport and the first to be built in Texas. DFW International Airport owns the hotel, and Chicago ­based Hyatt Hotels Corporation manages the property for the Airport.

    The 303,675­square­foot hotel features 298 guest rooms, a ballroom/banquet/meeting space, restaurants, lounge, roof top heated swimming pool and fully­ equipped fitness center with spa treatment rooms. All guest rooms offer a full range of amenities, such as pillow ­top Grand Beds, state­ of­ the ­art 32­inch flat screen televisions with digital video­ on­ demand and premium cable service, over­sized bathrooms outfitted with a freestanding shower and soaking tub, a spacious granite ­top work desk, high­ speed wired and wireless Internet access and two in ­room telephones. The hotel’s meeting space is comprised of more than 34,000 square feet of ballrooms, banquet and meeting rooms and conference suites that offer individual or master controls for heat/AC, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical/microphone outlets and programmable lighting effects. In addition, a full­ service business center is offered to hotel guests for their business needs.
