PARK HYATT GOA RESORT AND SPA VOTED AS THE “NUMBER ONE SPA IN THE WORLD” AND “BEST SPA IN ASIA AND INDIAN SUBCONTINENT” BY CONDE NAST TRAVELLER’S (UK EDITION) READER’S SPA AWARDS 2006

Mumbai, Wednesday, February 1, 2006—Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, a lifestyle Spa destination, is proud to have taken the foremost honor in Conde Nast Traveller’s (UK) 4th Annual Readers Spa Awards 2006. Sereno Spa was not only voted the “Number One Spa in the World” with 98.18 % votes but also earned kudos for being the “Best Spa in Asia and Indian Subcontinent.”

Conde Nast Traveller, the upscale travel publication which stands by its principle of “Truth in Travel”, organized this open­ended nomination survey for more than three million Conde Nast Traveller readers who cited Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa as being “the world’s best spa offering the perfect ambiance, authentic product line, wide­ranging treatments and pleasant staff amongst the other spa services for discerning travelers.”

Speaking at the 30 January awards event in London, Resort General Manager Vella Ramasawmy said, “This is the perfect start to what we believe will be a fantastic year for Park Hyatt Goa. The award illustrates that we are succeeding where it matters most – delivering a valued service, something we are committed to providing to all our guests.”

Sereno Spa at Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa is one of the most elegant and luxurious spas in South Asia and is spread over 28000 sq ft. The spa offers holistic treatments and a blend of unique therapies inspired by Ayurvedic and yogic traditions making for the complete rejuvenation destination.
