Arrival of Luxury
Park Hyatt Washington Partners With Audi of America, Inc

Washington, D.C. (September 19, 2006) - The newly re-opened Park Hyatt Washington and Audi of America, Inc. announced a new partnership today thus combining exceptional hospitality with automotive luxury. Visionary New York designer Tony Chi concepted the hotel’s re-design and the two custom-designed 2007 Audi A8 L sedans. Park Hyatt Washington proudly extends the complimentary amenity (upon availability) of one chauffer-driven Audi A8 L vehicle to its guests who request transport within the District of Columbia.

“The luxury Audi A8 L provides a seamless design journey from pick-up to reception and beyond,” says Tony Chi. From the moment Park Hyatt Washington guests take a seat in the Audi A8 L sedans and hear the crisp sound of the Bang & Olufsen sound system, they are carried by the music selections of the hotel floating from the speakers in the Audi through the Park Hyatt’s B&O systems in the Lounge, Tea Cellar, and Blue Duck Tavern.

Highlights of the Audi A8 L package for Park Hyatt Washington include classic red leather seating with black piping, red piping on the floor mats, myrtle nutmeg wood trim, steering wheel and shift knob, and silver Alcantara leather roof. An electric rear sun shade, heated front and rear seats, power door close assist, the revolutionary new Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System, front seat ventilation and massage, solar sunroof, personal refrigerator, and a rear vanity mirror complete the design.

“For almost a century, we have pioneered automotive design, performance, technology, and safety with a single-minded determination to never presume that great is good enough. Audi has never been about following trends and appealing to mass standards,” said Stephanie Valentine, Experiential Marketing Manager of Audi of America. “Pairing Audi with the newly redesigned Park Hyatt Washington is a culmination of comfortable modern design and the highest in standards of excellence, “ said Michel Morauw, General Manager of Park Hyatt Washington.

The second Audi A8 L vehicle is available for hire to complete airport transfers from the Park Hyatt Washington to DC metro area airports including Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport for $85,

Washington Dulles International Airport for $125 and Baltimore-Washington International Airport for $155 (Please be advised that prices are subject to change).

Throughout the next two years, Audi of America, Inc. and Park Hyatt Washington will work together on campaigns and special offers for their clients to enhance the luxurious lifestyle experience found within Audi vehicles and the Park Hyatt Washington Hotel.
