Enjoy a Large Selection of Swiss Cheeses
The Parkhuus Restaurant at Park Hyatt Zurich Surprises Diners With Unique Local Cheeses

Park Hyatt Zurich has added a new section to its lunch and dinner menus, with a wide selection of Swiss cheeses presented adjacent to the open show kitchen of the restaurant parkhuus, allowing gourmets to enjoy more than 20 local cheeses. In addition to such typical cheeses as Gryère, Appenzeller and Forester cheeses or the exclusive Swiss Brie, the restaurant offers also “Tina’s” mountain cheese from Gstaad. Tina is a cow that has been “leased” by the hotel since summer 2006; she donates her healthy milk to make a delicious cheese.

To enhance the gourmet experience, restaurant manager Alexander Hoffmann has also put together a selection of port wines that marry well with the cheeses. The restaurant also surprises diners with a delicious local liquor called “Fortikus”, along with fortified wines from Madeira and Portugal.
