SEVEN HYATT HOTELS HONORED IN 2012 BUSINESS TRAVELLER ASIA-PACIFIC AWARDS

HONG KONG (September 28, 2012) — Hyatt today announced that seven Hyatt hotels in the Asia-Pacific region have been designated ‘Best Business Hotel’ in their respective cities in the 2012 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.

Earlier this year, Business Traveller Asia-Pacific asked its subscribers—some of the region’s most frequent and experienced travellers—what they considered to be the ‘Best Business Hotel’ in a number of cities across Asia-Pacific. The results were compiled by global research specialist Ipsos and will appear in the October 2012 issue of Business Traveller Asia-Pacific, with a more detailed feature to follow in the November 2012 issue.

In an award ceremony held in Hong Kong on September 28, Grand Hyatt Beijing, Park Hyatt Saigon, Grand Hyatt Macau, Park Hyatt Melbourne, Hyatt Regency Osaka, Grand Hyatt Singapore and Park Hyatt Tokyo all won the coveted Best Business Hotel title in their respective cities.

“We are grateful that so many of Hyatt hotels have been awarded this most prestigious title by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific magazine,” said Larry Tchou, Managing Director of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for Asia Pacific. “Hyatt strives to provide authentic hospitality and make a difference in the lives of our guests, and these accolades are a testimony to the incredible dedication and hard work shown by our associates throughout Asia-Pacific. As we work toward our goal of being the preferred brand in every hospitality sector we serve, the awards are  wonderful confirmation and encouragement that we are headed in the right direction.”
