Indianapolis, Indiana, November, 2007- Hyatt Regency Indianapolis is excited to announce the completion of a $13-million renovation with the opening of One South restaurant on Friday, November 16, 2007. Located on the first floor of the hotel at One South Capitol, this bright and contemporary restaurant offers Italian/American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
“We are thrilled with the opening of the hotel’s newest restaurant,” said Brian Comes, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Indianapolis. “One South offers something for everyone. It is the perfect place to take a client for a business lunch or to bring your family for dinner.”
The restaurant offers a well-rounded menu. At breakfast guests can order a Hyatt signature item like the Sticky Bun French Toast or indulge in the breakfast buffet that offers made-to-order omelets and waffles. A pasta station, featuring a variety of options and fresh ingredients, highlights the lunch menu, which also includes warm panini’s, oven baked pizzas, and tasty salads. The dinner menu includes delicious entrees like Wild Salmon served over Mushroom Ravioli or Grilled Hanger Steak with Roasted Vegetables.
One South was designed by CMMI, an award winning design firm out of Atlanta, Georgia. The restaurant was created as a contemporary interpretation of an Italian bistro. The designers blended together a mixture of modern and natural materials to create a sophisticated yet casual atmosphere. High backed booths upholstered in a bold strip fabric create a sense of comfort and privacy. Acrylic table tops with warm wood chairs are placed throughout to evoke the feeling of sitting in an outdoor café. Large floor to ceiling windows in the front of the restaurant offer views into the newly redesigned atrium lobby; while the back of the restaurant features a beautiful mosaic tile wall that highlights the Italian marble buffet.
One South is open seven days a week serving breakfast from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, lunch from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and dinner from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The restaurant can seat up to 134 people and offers a private dinning room for parties of up to 20 people. All reservation can be made by calling 317-616-6160 or by visiting www.indianapolis.hyatt.com. Walk-ins are accepted.
