CHICAGO (August 31, 2026) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) today announced the opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, marking the debut of the Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts brand in the Dominican Republic and further expanding Hyatt's growing all-inclusive portfolio in one of the Caribbean's leading leisure destinations. Located along the tranquil shores of Cabeza de Toro in Punta Cana, the adults-only, all-inclusive resort brings the Hyatt Vivid brand’s vibrant, experience-driven approach to hospitality to Punta Cana, encouraging guests to reconnect with themselves, each other and the destination.
Designed for today's modern traveler, Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reimagines the all-inclusive experience through immersive wellness programming, thoughtfully curated culinary experiences and authentic cultural connections, all delivered in an effortless, flexible atmosphere.
“The opening of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana reflects both the continued strength of the Dominican Republic as one of the world's premier leisure destinations and our long-term commitment to growing alongside it,” said Javier Águila, President, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt. “We're grateful to Grupo Anacaona for their trust in bringing the Hyatt Vivid brand to life in this important market. With 30 resorts and more than 16,000 rooms already in the Hyatt Inclusive Collection across the country, this opening further strengthens Hyatt's leadership in all-inclusive hospitality while introducing a differentiated resort experience designed for guests seeking a more relaxed, flexible and socially connected way to travel.”
A New Era of Modern All-Inclusive Caribbean Hospitality
Inspired by Punta Cana's coastal heritage, Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana features 467 guestrooms and suites designed with natural textures, warm neutral tones and locally inspired accents that celebrate the surrounding landscape. Spacious accommodations blend contemporary comfort with a relaxed, authentic sense of place, creating an atmosphere that feels relaxed, elevated and effortlessly connected to the Dominican Republic.
Designed for guests who are social explorers, conscious connectors, digital nomads and travelers seeking meaningful experiences, the resort offers guests the freedom to personalize each day through intuitive programming centered around three core pillars: flow, with movement wellness and rhythm; discovery, featuring authentic cultural immersion and local connection; and presence, focused on mindfulness, relaxation and sensory experiences.
An Elevated Culinary Journey
Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana invites guests to explore diverse flavors through a collection of flexible dining experiences that celebrate both Dominican heritage and global cuisine. The resort features five à la carte restaurants, an international food hall, and a bar and grill, as well as seven distinct bars and lounges serving top-shelf domestic and international spirits, and an intimate hidden speakeasy. Additionally, the Zenda Wellness Café will focus on fresh, nourishing cuisine.
Whether enjoying locally sourced Dominican coffee, handcrafted cocktails or globally inspired cuisine, every culinary experience encourages guests to gather, connect and savor the moment.
Immersive Wellness Meets Authentic Discovery
Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana moves beyond traditional resort activities by offering experiences that immerse guests in the local culture while supporting physical and mental wellbeing.
Signature programming spans wellness, gastronomy, creativity and local culture, with experiences such as Wave Hello to Wellness, which combines paddleboard yoga with wellness-focused nutrition on the Caribbean Sea; Wellness Brew Sessions, pairing premium Dominican coffee, healthy bites and live DJ sets; and the Dominican Ritual Collection at Zenda Spa, inspired by locally sourced cacao and tropical fruits.
Guests can also discover the destination through experiences including Paint Your Way In, a creative workshop culminating in exclusive access to the resort's hidden speakeasy; the Dominican Art Mural, celebrating the region's music, gastronomy and artistic heritage; the Local Tuk Tuk Moment, an iconic Dominican-inspired social gathering and photo opportunity; and Starry Night, guided stargazing under Punta Cana's Caribbean skies. Wellness-inspired culinary offerings, including Berry Important Bowls, further complement the resort's holistic approach.
Together, these experiences are complemented by daily wellness programming, creative workshops, live music, sunset gatherings and cultural experiences that encourage guests to connect with the destination and with one another without rigid schedules or expectations.
Wellness Without Compromise
At the heart of Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is Zenda Spa, where guests can recharge through restorative treatments inspired by Dominican botanicals and traditions. Additional wellness amenities include modern indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, a padel court and pickleball courts, functional training areas, yoga and mindfulness programming, and recovery-focused wellness experiences.
The resort's flexible approach allows guests to move effortlessly between activity, relaxation and social connection throughout their stay.
